Mexican deathcore band My Place Was Taken was formed on October 29, 2014 and have since released a demo EP back in 2015. This band incorporates slams from brutal death metal, the technicality of technical death metal and the breakdowns from deathcore. Considering this it’s no surprise that they were getting noticed by record labels.

As of November 2017, they’ve signed a deal with Indiana-based Christian metal label Rottweiler Records through which they will release their second EP.  Until then jam out their new single “Imparables” and check out their first EP.
